It simply isn't practical to dual wield two swords that are more than a foot and a half long. Your whole realism is associated with practicality schtick is correct, but certainly not when dual wielding is concerned.
Finishers where he uses first one, and then the other are fine and actually good to watch. For now I would like to point out that finishers where he uses both weapons at the same time are lame and silly. Finishers are one thing, actual sword fighting is another, which I will try to explain later.
